Hello everyone! It’s been a while, sorry. Family festivities!!! Now I’m immersed in preparations for a solo show in Concord, NH at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests in the Conservation building meeting room. 54 Portsmouth St. Look for the brown signs. The show runs from Nov 2 through Dec. 31 M-F 8:30-5. There are meetings there so call before visiting 603-224-9945 or visit their website Forest Society
The show title is “No Artificial Ingredients!” and will have up to 40 pieces of my work inspired by and depicting nature in all its glory! The picture I’m hoping to upload here is of “Sumac Sparks” in progress.
Here is, finally, a good picture of my latest pair of ‘altered’ snowshoes made for a client who loves the Birches in Fall.
Here is the newest pair of decorative snowshoes! At this time they are hanging in my booth at the League of NH Craftsmen annual fair. I still have numerous pairs and single snowshoes waiting to be ‘filled’ with a scene or season of your choice! UPDATE: sold
Hello all, Just added an exciting date to my schedule! March 10-20, 2013 I will be one of the teachers on Norwegian Cruise Lines Quilters Cruise to the southern Caribbean!! How cool is that!? Each teacher is offering three classes, so nine to choose from! With many shore excursions to give you plenty of inspiration for future quilts….
Combining two of my favorite things, jigsaw puzzles and art quilting, I can now offer some of my best work in puzzle form! They are 500 piece, 16″ x 20″ with pieces around quarter size. The quilts are for the most part in permanent installations but are available from me for $19.95 plus shipping. Puzzles made in the likeness of my original quilts as shown are: Red Poppies, Fiesta, Poison on the Rocks, The Giving Tree, Complimentary .You may also visit my Puzzle Purveyor for other wonderful designs by area artists.
